2012 Oscar Foreign Language Film Submissions: ‘Montevideo: Taste of a Dream’

2011 Moscow International Film Festival – Winner Audience Award.

Is it true that football is always about politics, brawling men, handsome playboys in expensive cars, sexy slutty girlfriends, and the money talks? Even some eighty years ago back in 1930? And now, thanks to this movie, many people in the world will also believe that a kid indeed knew everything about soccer and life, juggling raw eggs was that easy, the first Yugoslavian national team was coached by a looney, and nice Serbian village girl always wore fancy red dresses.

My Rating: 4/10
