Those inmates are doing a truly good job as actors. Shakespeare would be proud of them. And to blow your bubbles, yes, they are real-real criminals.
Is this film insinuating that Italy never really changes? Do criminals and the long gone old Roman Empire have something in common? Or, do criminals and actors have some similarity? Or yeah, maybe you’re just overanalyzing it.
