It’s not much of a mystery film because you can probably guess what was gone awful wrong with these characters back on their seemingly carefree–but not drug free–Cambodian vacation within the first ten or fifteen minutes of the movie. But (thankfully) that’s not the main focus of the story. The real punches are (hopefully) coming from the suspense in waiting for them to tell the whole truth, and in the also too predictable melodramatic aftermath of those revelations. It’s a well acted movie, but maybe some simple re-editing, especially in the first ten or fifteen minutes, will make it much better.
My Rating: 5/10
